Is Golf Going to Be in The 2020 Summer Olympics?

This year Summer Olympics Games will be scheduled from 24th July to 9th August. And in this event, Golf will be going to the Summer Olympics 2020 in Tokyo.

Additionally, the Golf event will be scheduled for two features where men golf will start from 30 July to 2 August and women will start from 5–8 August.

Golf at Summer Olympics 2020

There are two golf events that will be held in this Summer Olympics 2020 at Kasumigaseki Country Club in Tokyo, Japan. 120 competitors will participate in total. The top 15 golfers will qualify the next round from both men and women competitors where every nation should limit with 4 golfers.

From Japan, 1 player qualified for its because of the host country. And rest of the players must prove their ability to perform at Top 15. So let’s see what will happen in that event.

  • Date: 11–14 August 2016 (men), 17–20 August 2016 (women)

Participating nations at the 2016 Olympics of Golf Event

The 41 nations who had participated in that 2016 Summer Olympics games. But Great Britain, South Korea, Sweden, the USA, New Zealand, and China were remarkable on the leaderboard.
